Unicom Tranzit Opens Teiuș Intermodal Terminal and Launches Rail Link to Milan

Unicom Tranzit has successfully completed a major update of its fleet operations, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of its logistics services. This We are proud to announce the official opening of our new intermodal terminal in Teiuș on June 15, 2022. This milestone project, launched in 2021 and completed in the second quarter of this year, strengthens Unicom Tranzit’s position as a key player in the intermodal transport sector in Romania.

The Teiuș terminal will initially serve a weekly direct rail connection between Teiuș and Milan, expanding our network and creating new opportunities for efficient freight transport across Europe.

Strategically located in the heart of Romania, with direct access to the Pan-European Corridor IV and the national highway network, the Teiuș terminal is designed to become a vital hub for fast, modern, and sustainable freight transport.

This opening marks an important step in our long-term vision: to provide seamless intermodal solutions that connect Romania with Europe’s major logistics hubs.
