Overview
Unicom Dornești Terminal was built by Unicom Group in 2003 as a link between former CIS countries using wide gauge and European countries operating on standard gauge railways.
The terminal is located in Dornești, the border station and railway customs entry point between Romania and Ukraine. Unicom Terminal has rail access on both standard and wide gauge railways, as well as road access for heavy vehicles. The terminal is only a few km away from the future A7 highway that will connect Bucharest to Siret.

Bulk Goods & Containers
Operations
- Transshipment of solid goods from almost all types of uncovered and covered wagons, as well as containers of different sizes and weights
- Storage of solid goods in open and covered warehouses

- Gantry crane: Hook 1 - 50t, Hook 2 - 12.5t
- Lifting beam for containers of 6 - 12m, working load 34t
- Lifting beam (20t, 8m) with 2 chain arms and hook for long and heavy goods
- Device for steel coils and wire rod with 25t capacity type "C25-1500" for handling goods with a length of up to 1,500mm
- Electromechanical grapple for bulk goods with capacity of 5m3
