Teiuș

Intermodal Services with Direct Access to Major Highways and International Rail Routes

Located in Alba County, the industrial center of Romania

Overview

Completed in 2022 and located in the Teiuș-Ondoroaie industrial area of Alba County, this modern intermodal terminal serves as a vital logistics hub in central Romania. Positioned within easy reach of major cities like Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, and Alba Iulia, it offers seamless road and rail connections to support efficient cargo movement between Romania and Central Europe. Its strategic location and comprehensive services make it an ideal choice for businesses requiring reliable, integrated freight solutions.

Road Connection

The terminal enjoys immediate access to the A10 highway, which links the A1 and A3 motorways connecting key urban centers such as Sebeș and Turda. This highway network places the terminal within 80 km of major cities including Cluj-Napoca (700,000 inhabitants), Sibiu (400,000 inhabitants), and Alba Iulia (60,000 inhabitants), and within 100 km of Hunedoara, Târgu Mureș, Deva, and Sighișoara. This connectivity facilitates fast, flexible first- and last-mile trucking options for container and semi-trailer transport.

Rail Connection

The terminal is linked by an industrial railway line to the CFR Coșlariu station, a significant railway junction on the Pan-European Corridor IV (Dresden – Prague – Vienna – Bratislava – Budapest – Arad – Bucharest – Constanta). This connection enables efficient freight transport between the Port of Constanța and Central Europe through the Curtici/Lőkösháza border crossing, supporting international trade flows and offering competitive transit times.
